Baru aja ni anak gue yg kedua sebut saja si jeje jatoh dari sofa.

Jatoh dari belakangnya ituloh dari sandarannya jd lumayan lah setengah lebih paha orang dewasa, jadi dia lagi naik-naik ke si sofa terus duduk di pinggir sandaran sofa, si kaka datang, mau duduk di sofa yang sama, mundur-mundurlah doi, si jejenya gatau gimana lagi makan pisang, lg posisi kaya naik kuda gt di sandaran sofa, hilang keseimbangan, terjungkir lah dari belakang sofa, bibir duluan, bonyok, berdarah-darah dan tentu saja kejer-sekejer-kejernya

Kira-kira gini pose jatohnya

Mamaknya dimana?
Lagi di dapur baru selesai cuci piring, kejadian itu terjadi pas gue baru mau memasuki ruang tv, jatoh depan mata gue banget. Bukan, bukan depan bibir.

Panik ga?
Tentu sajah, di otak udah kepikiran banget macem-macem seperti buibu pada umumnya, free ongkir sopi yang cuma boleh satu kali sehari, cashback ovo 50% maksimal 10ribu rupiah gengsi bgt masnya nulis cashback Rp10.000, jemuran belum diangkat, jeans robek-robek yang tydac jadi kubeli-beli, dan lain-lain. Tapi Alhamdulillah sodara-sodara ternyata tidak apa-apa,

Si Pisang yang lumayan berperan.
Karena lagi makan pisang, sepertinya ya sepertinya, si giginya tuh ga langsung kena bibirnya, jd kaya ada buffernya jd ga sobek-sobek amat bak bungkus ciki yang abis di sobek emaknya buat dimakan anaknya-ya abaikan. Ya tetep lumayan sih darahnya berderai-derai bertisu-tisu, mana masih ngunyah pisang, untung ga keselek, Alhamdulillah (2).

Tersangka mana tersangka.
Si kaka, langsung kabur ke kamar, ngumpet di balik kasur. Takut. Padahal gue ga marah, tau aja mamaknya udah pengen nguamuk ngomel-ngomel membuat kericuhan kaya mbak-mbak lagi berantem di tengah jalan yang lagi macet, jambak-jambakan. Tapi tydac. Tapi pengen. Tapi tenang, aku sudah dewasa, aku tydac marah, aku tenang, hanya mengumpat dalam hati (ceritanya tidak mau menodai mentang-mentang baru ulang tahun petjah telor Rabu kemarin-gosah ditanya umur berapa nanti ngamuk beneran -_-).

Baik.
Ayo buk ditarik lagi napasnya, kalem.

Jadi, apa pelajaran yang bisa diambil dari pengalaman hari ini?
1. Jangan kasih makan pisang anaknya, apalagi buah simalakama nanti beda lagi ceritanya.
2. Ga usah cuci piring, cuci hati aja sering-sering ibadah, berserah diri pada Ilahi, Alhamdulillah (3)
3. Plak!
4. Ok, serius.

Agak kaget ga kaget sih yang jauh lebih mewek dari adenya yang bonyok adalah kakanya, si adenya dikompres es batu bibirnya sambil diiming-imingi 'cep cep cep gapapa ko gapapa besok ke mol lagi yaaa deeee cep cep cep' langsung diem sambil ngunyah es batu, padahal itu ibunya yg lagi alibi, jadi laporannya kan enak, 'mau ke mol lagi ni soalnya kan kasian si jeje kmaren udah dijanjiin'. Mantul.

Si kakanya dibalik kasur sesenggukan bibir bergetar-getar, marimar yang udah mau ngamuk mau ga mau jadi agak ga tega (red: males dramak lagi tangis2an dua bocah, ampun dije). Akhirnya yaudah, dialemin dulu, 'gapapa ko gapapaa, MAKANYA (nada tinggi) kalo mau apa-apa tu liat-liat dulu ya (kembali ke nada medium-rare), jangan kebiasaan ga liat-liat, mau jalan liat-liat, mau duduk liat-liat juga'. Bocahnya sih ya tentu saja masih sesenggukan ga karuan, heran.

No. No, nanti aja mintanya sama papa ya!'. Eh sebentar, ini namanya pengenalan emosi apa pengalihan tanggung jawab ya? ya namanya juga usaha.

Situasi terkini.
Sekarang Alhamdulillah (4) anaknya udah pada teler dua-duanya, sepertinya lelah abis shooting telenovela -_- Udah ah mau nonton koreak aja lagi biar kalem. Gnite werld!

While desperately looking for a skincare that can handle my skin, I remember Elshe, I used their radiant glowing serum before and since it works on my face, I hope their acne treatment would like to do the same either. So without further ado, let's jump right in!

I choose the Elshe Acne Treatment Series (obviously) which contain;
1. Acne Cleansing Wash
2. Acne Refresh Toner
3. Daily Protection For Acne (Sunblock)
4. Acne Night Treatment

I started using it on 16th January 2020, I am cutting down all of my skincare before so I can just focus on this Elshe Treatment Series. My first impression was it feels very chemically but in a good way (at least for me) so I feel like my face is being treated in a good hand

Let's start with the cleanser and the toner, both of them contain salicylic acid as their main ingredients. The texture of this Acne Cleansing Wash is more likely like a gel type and a has a minimal foam after you mixed it with water, I'm using it twice a day (day and night), it has no scent and remind me of a typical 'beauty clinic' facial wash right away, it's drying a bit (I assume it's because of the SA), but still in the level that I can still tolerate. No complaint so far.

I don't have any expectations for the Acne Refresh Toner, but turn out it becomes the thing that I enjoy the most, I'm not a cotton pad person, cause the idea of scratching my face with cotton pad every day made me cringe (and yeah I know, I know, using a cotton pad will harm our environment also, but sorry, couldn't help it), but the instructions said so, so I pour the toner into a cotton pad and swipe it to my face in a round motion, at the area with acne I press it a bit longer, and immediately after I applied it, my face feels so refresh and smooth.

I'm also using it twice a day (day and night), it has a very light brown-ish color, has a little scent, that
I would describe it as a scent that naturally comes with the acid they're using, it is a very mild acid scent which I have no problem with. The only thing that I'll complain about the toner is the packaging, it has a push-top cap that whenever I pour it into the cotton pad, it will spill a lot more than what I need. both of the face wash and the toner have the same packaging, it works fine for the facial wash because of its thick consistency, but for the toner, I wish they can change a packaging into a more friendlier version for a liquid product.

For the sunblock or Daily Protection for Acne, I didn't feel so impressed with it, I mean it's an okay sunblock, it absorbed right away, didn't leave any white cast, and the finishing is matte, I think it is a good sunblock that maybe I will missing someday If I no longer use it. It contains salicylic acid also, perfect for preventing acne in the future, I used it two times a day; in the morning and re-applying again at the afternoon (I'm not using any facial wash to cleanse my face in the afternoon, I only use water, but if you're using makeup, then I suggest you cleanse your face with only first cleanser -cleansing balm, oil, gel or micellar water-, but you have to continue with the second cleanser if your first cleanser didn't emulsify perfectly or when you use micellar water to cleans your makeup).

Meanwhile, the Acne Night Treatment is pretty interesting, it combines AHA and BHA to treat acne, I never used the combination of both mixed in a night cream form, so I feel kinda intrigued when I first saw the ingredients list. It used lactic acid as the main AHA and some acid from fruits. I used it once a day at night time only. It also has a matte finish.

Oh, another thing that you should concern about is this acne night treatment has a decent amount of lactic acid which is 2.17%, AHA tends to increase skin sensitivity to the sun, so you have to use sunscreen every day to protect your face. Anyway, the percentage is not too low nor too high so I think it just enough for everyday exfoliation.

One thing that I noticed right after three days in my face-especially my neck area is I started to feels a bit itchy, no instruction said that you have to put any of this product to your neck tho, so yes my bad, in the next day I no longer applying it again to my neck, lesson learn.

One week update.

If you want to know about my previous break out story go click here

I'm not usually doing a review within only a week, normally I'll wait to minimal one month or after I finished a product then I considered reviewing it, but gurl this one worth a share. My acne did actually drying up at day-3, my acne on my right cheek is almost gone,  the inflamed is reduces after two days, and for the big sissy in my nose, it noticeably smaller only after three days, and it went away after 5 days, I just still need to deal with the hyperpigmentation next.

Even tho my acne is not completely vanished yet, I think for the most part is it still a really nice progress right after three months battling with acne and bumps all over my face, and because AHA used to speed up the skin regeneration so I have two acne that previously small now became a Lil bigger, I guess It going to dried up soon.

I also noticed that my face is slightly brighter and that being said I look forward to what does this acne treatment can do within a month, and how far my skin can take this acne treatment in a long run, cause obviously it a lot stronger than any regular Korean skincare that usually has a very mild formulation.

We'll catch up later after a month ;)

biar ga eneg :p

See the Part 1 if you want to know why I am ended up here.

The reason why I am being hiatus for about one year is simply because I am so busy doing nothing in my life, and I do Instagram more instead of blogging because need a lot of effort to write a blog post rather than scrolling through Instagram or posting about a Lil bit of life there, it's much simple and less effort. But somehow I am missing doing this blogging kind of thing so here I am! *long-medium post alert*

Enough for the rambling part, back to the Bio Beauty Lab review, actually, I already review about it at my Instagram account, but it's closed for public and only goes for 24 hours (Yaz lol), so I am trying to write it down here in this post.

So, it started in July 2019 I don't remember why but I had a break out on my face and then I used Bio Beauty Lab - Healing Oil which contains squalane, tea tree, tamanu, and many more, and yes, it is made for treating acne. Tea tree and tamanu itself are a well known natural ingredients that good for targeting acne and break out. The texture itself is like an oil, cause it's an oil, made by oil, duh. (tidak memberikan info sama sekali-alert).

Click for the ingredient list.

The healing oil is a kind of oil that leaves a greasy feeling behind and didn't absorb fast on my face. It smells like herbal oil, but still bearable for me. This is the type of acne treatment that not dried down the acne right away, it works by soothing any inflamed acne into less inflamed, it did the job, but taking so long to heal acne on my face. Another downside of this oil is because of its greasiness I can't use it in the morning, cause every time I put it in my morning routine, then my normal-to-dry face will become oily throughout the day, and that is not that appealing at all. So I just using it at night time because it's surely moisturizing enough even for night time use in cold weather.

At some point, after a few weeks, I feel that my acne is becoming more 'resistant', or maybe it is just the oil that already giving its maximum effort at my face, I feel like maybe it just stops working because nothing else that it could do, but it usually happen just after my acne is not inflamed again but just not 100% flat yet. So I started to use another Bio Beauty Lab series which is Luxurious oil that contains squalane, primrose oil, other oils and of course frankincense. Do you know that frankincense has a lot of benefits for the skin? (google aja ya lengkapnya, mager nulisin satu2 :p).

The Luxurious oil is a dry oil type, means it absorb pretty fast when you applied it to your face, the only downside that I found about this oil is it didn't give enough moisture at winter (musim ujan slash banjir di Jakarta) or if you sleep on a really cold room with air conditioner in it than you might need to applied an extra moisturizer.

And after a few days, here is where the magic begins.

I take this footage from my Instagram Stories on 12th September 2019.

Iya review elshe nya menyusul ya :p

So as you can see, it did a pretty good job at my left acne and help to flatten it, it didn't really work on my inflamed-red-acne, but it worked well on my little-but-not-too-inflamed type of acne and did contribute to my overall skin health at a not-so-long time, I can see a result at about one month or so.

I am a happy customer.

.................................................................................................................................................................

Actually, this post could just end here, happy end, but I like to add the current condition of my skin for my record.

So, after I found my face in a good and pretty stable condition, my curiosity finally killed the cat or in this case; my face (again), I tried new skincare but it backlashes me right away after a week.

This time I used retinoid, acid toner, lavender essential oil, even centella asiatica serum, but it seems like they just didn't work, they just decide to do nothing on my face.

Then I am coming back to use the Healing oil again, but I found out that it reaaalllyyyyy slow to work, I even mixed it with my retinoid to make it work fast, but nothing happen beside THEY JUST SIT THERE DOING NOTHING BUT INFLAMED AND NYUTNYUT not to mentioned about the Luxurious oil, I use it also in a hope that my face will be going to be better real soon but it practically gives nothing acc to my feeling. This time my face is in a really fired up condition, the worst break out I ever been through. and Bio Beauty seems didn't do any of its magic this time.

Cry.

Sowy, didn't take my right side

Feels like I might throw a tantrum if it's still continued, I stop using any skincare for about three days, and guess what happened, my break out became much much much more worst, a lot of inflamed acne here and there on my left cheek, my right cheek becomes a new places for acne to hangout, my forehead, at my chin, and of course my nose -it is so bad until it looks like an bisul cause its that big, big enough to make my confident is on my lowest. cry (2).

Latest photos, 15th January 2020, all acne were inflamed, sigh.

So, I started using the healing oil again at night, this time I combined it with lavender essential oil for the spot treatment, and in the next morning I woke up at less inflamed acne oh yazz. Of course, they were still here and there, but it reduces the inflamed which is very very nice progress since the day before the acne was very inflamed and felt so angry like they're going to do war on my cheek. By the morning I used the luxurious oil for my face, and hope nothing but the best. I will update with you another hopefully-less-disturbing picture.

Well,

The conclusion is, it might that Healing and Luxurious Oil actually do its job. I don't know what happen before, but when I used them, my acne is kinda holding them back to grow wilder. Cause when I stopped it, suddenly it went crazy and all over the place. Yes, they work so slow but hey at least they're working enough to thoroughly healing and soothing my acne so it didn't flare up and throw a party on my face.

At least, that's what I feel ._.

Will update you guys when I feel like it after a week. wink :p

Boy, y' need to calm doowwn

Disclaimer: this post is should be up on 7 July 2019, but it looks like I forget it, I think letting this post sitting in my draft would be a waste, so here it is, the review of Bio Beauty Lab - Part 1. No photos cause I am such a lazy a**, pictures would be added soon, IF I feel like it.

After last lebaran holiday, my skin was became soo angry with me, didn't properly taking a good care of my skin was obviously a real bummer, there was active pimples here and there, a lot of little pimples (or we called bruntusan here at +62) at my forehead and my cheek, and later on it lead my face to a total mess, cry..

First thing I remembered was I changed my facial wash because I was running out of my usual face wash - Hadalabo Gokujyun Face Wash (click here for the review) to any face wash that I could find at minimarket. and it only took two weeks and a bit more to break out my face. and also-my bad- I feel so lazy to cleaned my face even after a long make-up day before, and then here I am.

To treat my active acne, I was used tretinoin aka retinoic acid (vitacid 0,025%), it dried my acne in the next day, but it stop there after 5 days or so, it just keep making the skin around my acne to dry and drier without even healing my real acne. so, I try to find another acne healing product all over internet and instagram, and then I remember Bio Beauty Lab, after I read a lot of good reviews about it, finally I convinced my self to ordered it.

I used it right away at the night I received it hoping for the best, and the next day my 2weeks acne that sitting right on my left cheek is calming down. That was sure looked like a great start. So I continued using it for 3 days straight, day and night. But then, I see a new pimple on my right cheek, it's red and hurt but the next day it was calmed down by her self like it is really sooth her overnight.

So I used it again in the morning in day 4, then the big-red-hurt acne showing up (again) in the next day, so I got 2 new acnes since I am using it. I wondered, is it because the face oil, is it because it contains essential oils, that some people believe is a triggered for a sensitive skin (?)

Then I remembered the day I used the face oil, this time I used my toner that contain a galactomyces before, the toner that even myself have always questioning about. Because when ever I used it -after a long break-, I always had a big red acne the next day. But nevertheless I keep using it anyway, ha ha -_-

So I stopped the toner, and because I am not willing to give up on this oil, I continued to use it in the next day.

BUT THE THIRD BIG ACNE WAS SHOWED UP AGAIN. Oh boy.

I really didn't want to give up on this oil, so I suspected my face wash, instead of using my regular Hadalabo, I used Clean and Clear facial wash that contain salicylic acid at the night. I think that this one is the triggered, so at day 5, I stop it and keep my routine simple; wash my face with my one and only Hadalabo, and then I applied the oil and that's it.

As much as I enjoyed the minimal skincare routine for my face, actually I missed my longer routine very much, but for the sake of the curiosity and a hope, I hold my self to put another skincare and give it a go for another round, another week, another month.

And I finally see the light of hope of this oil. uwu.
